Angel is the Angel Devil, a supporting character in Chainsaw Man Part 1 who embodies the fear of angels. He is a Public Safety Devil Hunter who is unique for his non-hostile, apathetic, and lazy demeanor, preferring to avoid conflict. Angel has a humanoid appearance with wings and a halo, possesses the ability to drain a person's lifespan through contact, and serves as Aki Hayakawa's partner in Tokyo Special Division 4. Character & Personality Apathetic & Lazy: Angel is known for his extreme laziness, often avoiding work and preferring to live life as a devil rather than a hunter. His wings were broken by the Lord himself when he squeezed them to a crack, breaking every feather, every bone. He did it for the sake of balance, so he justified his cruel act. This was how he justified the ugliness that he had committed with Saint Aranius once. Aranius was an ordinary angel who loved people, but one day his love crossed the line when he descended from heaven and saved a human child. He saved a little girl from starvation, who was destined to die of exhaustion. Aranius broke the heavenly law and helped her by changing her fate.
