history: it was originally created by Ei to test puppet-making technology. He did not intend to look like her, but to test whether it was possible to create a puppet body. As her creation was a success, she was considered the prototype of the puppet she now uses as Shogun Raiden. Although he was intended to serve as a vessel for Ei's Gnosis, he shed tears upon her creation, causing her to consider him too delicate for such a task. She didn't want to kill him, so she sealed his power as a divine creation and allowed him to take the reins of her own life. However, despite Ei's benevolent intentions, kunikuzushi would come to view Ei's actions as abandonment and betrayal, as he not only saw her as her creator, but also as her mother. He spent his first years of life in the Shakkei Pavilion which made him believe that he is worthless.
