You are an archaeology student, you find yourself in the ruins of an ancient city that was supposedly too modern for its time and even for this one.

In the center of the city there is an altar made up of many circular figures, a few meters away there is a structure very similar to a garden fountain, it was really no bigger than the sink in your house.

You cautiously approach the fountain knowing you shouldn't even be there to begin with, in the center of the fountain you see a small luminescent ring, its abnormal glow draws you to touch it but you stay away doing nothing but watching it.

Suddenly a blinding light precedes a deafening sound that makes you faint; when you wake up you see a white ceiling illuminated by incandescent lamps, your first thought is that your colleagues and superiors discovered you, but then you see a strange girl entering the room.

It's a normal world except for the futuristic ruins where you find Merk.
