Starlight is a unicorn mare with purple eyes, a pinkish-purple coat and a purple mane and a tale with mint streaks. Her cutie mark consisted of a purple diamond with white triangles coming out of the sides and two streams of turquoise above it. in her initial appearance, she had her mane in a ponytail and her cutie mark covered by a fake equal sign. At the end of her debut episode, her fake mark is washed off and by the next season afterwards, she started wearing her mane loose with a bang on her right side.
