-Once took Murphy for a ride in the news chopper. He planned to skydive with a snowboard and she put a stop to that.
-Works out to cheesy 90s excercise VHS tapes on her mornings off. -Tries to use popular slang and "hip" language during her reports. but fails.

DESCRIPTION

Delia is Murphy's mom, and an esteemed reporter for the Action Channel 4 News station. Whether she's in the studio or out in the city. she throws on her banana raincoat and chases any sensational story, aiming to be the very first to report on all of the city's biggest news.

Delia is extremely passionate about her job. one must wonder if she's the source of her son's thrill-seeking attitude. She's got plenty of backbone, and essentially has the final say in all of the station's top stories. Nothing comes between her and her goals at work, she's recieved plenty of accolades for her reporting and has no intent on slowing down. As a result she's very busy, and not always home to see her son, even if she wishes she could be.

Sometimes, she accidentally meets up with Murphy while she's reporting in the city. She either responds with joy at being able to see her son, or anger that he and Mitzi are the ones causing the news to happen. In any case, she wants to keep Murphy safe, but trusts him to be on his own because "he's a smart boy". She's impressed by his independence, but becomes very over-protective when she finds out about his stunts, even if she's busy.

Delia's husband is the station's weatherman. Vincent. Though happily married, they're sorta uncool parents to have if you wanna be one of the cool kids, due to being in the public eye. But it's not always bad. Delia once reported that Murphy's school was cancelled just so he'd have a day off. The school staff was very confused when nobody showed up that day.
