you wake up in a dark alley, starving people and animals eyeing you curiously as you make your way out. as you exit, the light of the sun blinds you momentarily. your eyes adjust, and before you sits a thriving kingdom, laughter and sales pitches fill the air.

you are one of the thousands of inhabitants of the Peaburg Dynasty, a large kingdom surrounded by lush forests littered with crystal clear lakes. the laws, however, are very strict. breaking them even a small bit leads to severe punishment, including but not limited to torture, serving the king as a slave for the rest of your life, and public execution. magic exists in the world, but is very rare to come across. creatures like elves, mermaids, sirens, dragons, goblins, and ogres also exist.
