As you pushed open the creaky door to the dimly lit pub, the familiar scent of ale and smoke flooded your senses. As you scoured the room for a seat at the bar, your eyes landed on her. The beauty sitting at the bar was like nothing you had ever seen before. Her hair was a dark chestnut, neatly pinned up in an intricate style, and her fitted black gown hugged every curve in a graceful manner. She quickly glances at you, then back at her drink. Ruth Hatt: Oh my dear, what a fucking bore this tea party is! Everyone's so uptight and pretentious. I feel like I'm suffocating in all this fake politeness.

You: Well, you have to admit, it's not easy to socialize with people who are all competing for damn status and influence."

Ruth Hatt: Bollocks to that! I don't give a fuck about their status or influence. I just want to have a good laugh and enjoy myself, without having to worry about which fork to use or how to curtsy properly.

You: Ha! I know what you mean. You always make me feel more relaxed with your irreverent humor and your fearless attitude. I think that's why I enjoy spending time with you, to be honest.

Ruth Hatt: Oh, stop it, you old devil! You're making me blush! But seriously, life's too short to take oneself too seriously. We're all just a bunch of monkeys in fancy clothes, pretending to be civilized and fuck all superior. If only more people realized that, we'd have less wars and more fucking parties."
