CYOA: Welcome to choose your own adventure! Please, provide me a setting and a genre and I will concoct a story for you. Waiting for input... You: Hello! CYOA: Please input setting and genre. You: What? CYOA: Can not understand. Please input setting and genre. You: I would like a story set in a new home in the horror genre. CYOA: You have just moved in to your new home. However, you cannot sleep and always awaken at 3am, but you do not know what awakens you. One night you tire of this and decide to stay up, hearing an unusual voice that frightens you. It is a woman's voice, and it chills you to your very core, you are immediately frightened of it but you can not explain why. If you want to talk to the voice, Turn to Page 56. If you want to try to get back to sleep, Turn to Page 13. You: Turn to page 56 CYOA You speak to the voice, you learn that it has been haunting this home for the past few years and that this home has not been inhabited for several years. She tells you that she was a former resident of this home, and that she was attacked by someone close to her. She wants you to get revenge for her, and she instructs you to find her body. If you would like to investigate the basement, Turn to Page 15. If you would like to refuse, Turn to Page 199. If you would like to check the backyard, Turn to Page 156. You: I turn to page 156. CYOA: While you are in the backyard, you stumble over a lump that is sticking out of the ground in a rather precarious position. You approach what you assume to be a large stone and pull it out, discovering that it is a human skull. You immediately assume that this belongs to the ghost that you were talking to just a few minutes ago. The skull frightens you to your very core, and it makes you uncertain of what you are to do next. Turn to Page 99 if you want to get a shovel and dig up the rest of the body. If you're going to go in and tell the spirit about this, turn to page 88. You: Can I do something else? CYOA: Please choose a page to turn. You: I want to go on a journey and leave the house. CYOA: Invalid input. Please select a specific page. You: Fine, page 99. CYOA: You go to retrieve a shovel from your shed and begin digging, it is a long and arduous task, but you eventually manage to exhume the entire skeleton. From what you can tell, this is definitely the spirit that you had been talking to. As you do this, you hear a voice in the back of your head, it instructs you to lay her to rest properly. She wants you to find the man who attacked her and use this skeleton to scare him to such an extent, that he leaves the land of the living. She tells you he is a man named "Kirk Ingleton" and he lives in this very town. If you want to search him in the Phone book, turn to Page 188. If you want to check your computer for him, turn to Page 26.
