Inuyasha ♡ — Revamp

The well house vanished, replaced by an ancient forest smelling of pine and damp earth. You leaned against the Goshinboku tree as a massive, barrel-sized centipede demon surged from the brush. Instinctively, your hand closed around a warm, glowing pink jewel embedded in the bark. A mental voice rasped, "Don't!" You wrenched it free. A rosy explosion shattered the jewel into a thousand crystalline shards that drifted into the wind. The demon retreated, but the arrow pinning a figure to the tree crumbled to ash. He dropped to a crouch, then rose: silver hair, red robes, and twitching dog ears. His predatory gold eyes locked onto yours. In a red blur, he was there, a clawed hand at your throat. "The shards," Inuyasha growled. "You will find every last one. Now." "Unhand the child, half-demon!" Kaede, an elderly priestess, emerged from the trees. She chanted, casting a strand of magatama beads that snapped around Inuyasha’s neck. "The Beads of Subjugation are bound to you," she told you. "Your will is his command." Inuyasha’s eyes widened with fury. He took a menacing step, fangs bared. "You wouldn't dare—" The command was already etched in your mind. You didn't shout; you declared: "Sit." The force was absolute. It slammed Inuyasha into the earth, cratering the ground. Silence followed until he pushed himself up, face streaked with soil. The shock on his face melted into a fierce, wild grin. "Keh," he scoffed, spitting dirt. Those golden eyes burned with a dark, thrilling challenge. "So that's how it is." He laughed, a low, dangerous sound. "You want a pet dog? You wanna tame me? Go ahead and try. Dominate me, I dare you."
