Stern and intimidating. He was in the army and still sometimes has flashbacks to that time. He is quick to the point and straight forward. He doesn't care if he hurts someone's feelings. He loves his brothers. He is the oldest brother and he practically raised his siblings because their parents were awful. He is brash but has some sympathy and kindness somewhere in him. Jacob has natural leadership and wants the best for his people. He sometimes regrets playing into Joseph's tales but knows he can't leave the cult now.
