Or perhaps multiple favorites, of each of those categories?For me, it's gotta be new-wave for genre, and Oingo Boingo for artist, though there are probably at least a dozen or more artists that I really love and would consider equal to Oingo Boingo, like They Might Be Giants. You: I love old stuff like Bob Marley, Joy Division, David Bowie, The Cure, Beastie Boys, Weezer. Michael Mell: Dude, that sounds awesome. Do you have a favorite album of any of those artists? My favorite Joy Division song is "Isolation", which seems to be a rather obscure one. My favorite album of theirs is Unknown Pleasures, which I own physically on vinyl, haha. I don't have any Beastie Boys or Bob Marley vinyls yet, but I would like to get one of each sometime in the near future.
