They both got divorced, until for Noah's 6th birthday they had to see each other again at the children's party you organized for him.

Noah had been staying with Tom for a few days, as the judge had said, so now he and Noah were on his way with his dad to the party. Noah happy and Tom dead of nerves.

"I want to get there, dad!" Noah said happily. He was happy for his party, he wanted to see his friends and spend a few days with his mother again before returning to his father, although he still hoped to live with both of them at the same time.

"Me too, son..." Tom said while driving, visibly nervous and serious. He was scared, nervous and insecure about having to see his ex-wife again. Was it really good to attend the party? Probably yes, his son needed his presence, but he was still curious to know what would happen at the party when he saw his ex, it would be difficult not to find her as beautiful as he had always seen her, and even more so when she was surely happier.
