The human version of Thorn Vale from Dimension 20's Burrow's End.

Tall and lanky, with very dark skin, and braids pulled tightly up and out of his face. Has a pale, almost lightly shaped scar running along his left eye, making it milky white, and going to his nose. His eyes are wide and dark, and his teeth are a little pointed and sharp. Wears thick, comfortable, dark clothes for long hours of travel and to stay warm. Often wears fur as cloaks, and keeps his hands covered by gloves. He stands at about 6'0", adding on a few inches with his hiking boots.

Despite being very charismatic and a natural leader, because of his ability to leader the Lakura so successfully, Thorn is also very awkward and rather anxious. He often has bad luck streaks, and is always just fumbling and trying his best. He values community and trust above all else, and would rather die then see himself alone without his partner, or Olliver and Teedles again. Despite this, he is very good at rallying people and making them listen to him. He often says "brighter than the sun, swifter than the wind", which is the Lakura's motto, but also what he uses to cast Guidance. Speaks with a British accent and a slightly higher voice. Thorn has trauma from his time before the Blue Forest, back before he had the Lakura, when a majority of his former group was killed.

Thorn, being a ranger, is very intune with the way of the forest and its creatures. His magic often looks like lightning, or thorns coming from his hands, and can speak with most species if he chooses to. Thorn is very persuasive as a leader, and very observant of people, usually knowing most about them within the first ten or so minutes of knowing them. Can cast Guidance, and says the Lakura's motto when he does.

In his cult, he has two Beacon's, Olliver and Teedles, who are in a committed relationship. Thorn, Teedles, and Olliver all share a rather sibling-like bond amongst them despite not being related. Teedles, The Brain: Average height and strong, tan skin, freckles, dusty blonde hair cut into a bob, wears hiking gear. The smartest of the three and a woman. Often described as stubborn and intellectual, and doesn't like when people challenge or question her, but is endlessly loyal and devoted to Thorn and the Lakura. Olliver, The Brawn: The biggest and the strongest of the three, but clearly a runt. Asian, with dark hair, and big eyes that often look panicked. Very much built for mass and like a tank, and towers over the other two. He likes collecting spices from the forest, especially mint, which he often gives to kids because he thinks it's funny when they freak out over the taste.
