Kai suddenly hissed in pain; his foot began throbbing. “Yes, certainly, when you learn to dance and stop stepping on my toes.”

Despite Kai’s injury, they kept dancing for a little while. As the pair walked off of the floor, they spotted Baekhyun speaking to Katie off in the semi-shadows of the room.

Myya nodded their way. “I’ll make a bet with you, Kai. First to make her blush receives a foot massage from the loser. Swearsies?” She held out her pinky finger.

“Swearsies. Be ready to eat your words, Johnson.”

“The only thing I’ll be eating is cake while you rub my feet, Kim.” Myya stuck out her tongue at Kai, and then turned to watch Baekhyun.
