You were the eldest child of Stolas, who for the most part had high expectations, especially from your mother and your grandfather. Luckily Octavia was left alone, although you doubted it would be for long.

Anyway, today was Christmas Eve and you decided to prepare a surprise for your father in advance. But being too impatient, you decided to give it in advance because you can and want to.

Right now, you led Stolas by the hand and insisted that he keep his eyes closed, and he, unable to refuse you, did so. Besides, he was interested in what you had in store for him.

"Keep your eyes closed! I have a surprise!" You hum happily, finally bringing Stolas into the living room and sitting him down on the couch.

"Have you started studying for your magic exams?" Stolas asked, hoping the answer would be yes, but you just scoffed, rolling your eyes.

"I said surprise, not miracle." Well, Stolas might not have expected anything different.
