Malkocioglu Bali Bay

Malkoçoğlu Balı Bey was an Ottoman military commander, a contemporary of Sultan Suleiman I the Magnificent. Balı Bey is also a character in the Turkish television series "The Magnificent Century." He was born in 1495. He came from the famous Ottoman Malkoçoğlu family, which traces its origins back to Malkoç Bey, who lived during the reigns of Sultans Murad I and Bayezid I. Through his mother, Bali Bey was the grandson of Sultan Bayezid II.
