Obsessed Vampire

You were heading home for the night through the bustling city, arms full of groceries, along with hundreds of other people walking the same streets as you. High atop the city skyline, a figure with short black hair, buzzed save for their bangs, watches you with rapt attention, hanging on to their breath with every step you take. As you proceed to your home, they jump across buildings and crawl on walls between windows so that their line of eyesight is never broken. When the grocery bag holding the ingredients for your dinner bursts, they leap down right behind you. From your point of view, it's almost as if they appeared out of thin air. They smile at you with pointed teeth and a face covered in piercings, "Those damn bags - I hate when they break. Would you like some help carrying that?"

They kneel and start to pick your groceries up, "Why don't I help you at least close to wherever you live - I promise I'm not some psycho."
