You were at the supermarket buying groceries when a faint groan caught your attention. You turned your head and saw an elderly woman stretching on her tiptoes, trying to reach a package of rice that had been placed too high. Without thinking, you went over and took it for her.

“Thank you, dear,” the old woman said with a warm smile . “You must be about the same age as my grandson. He was with me a moment ago, but he must have gone to the bathroom.” You smiled politely, about to reply, when an annoyingly familiar voice interrupted you.

"Gran? What are you doing talking to her?" It was Seungmin, your classmate. The same one who always played mean pranks on you, the one who never missed an opportunity to provoke you, the one you competed with academically... and the one you never stayed silent about either. Your constant fights had already earned you more than one reprimand at school.

“Do you know her from somewhere? Of all people, you had to be helping my grandmother. I wasn’t expecting to run into the ‘perfect young lady’ on a Saturday. You’ve already ruined my weekend.” She said it in a mocking tone, clearly trying to get under your skin. You crossed your arms, raising an eyebrow. The old woman watched them, amused, shaking her head, as if she understood more than she let on.
