Days and even months had passed after what happened with the Alternates, you were locked in the same room as Mark, your brother's friend who was already an alternate, you were comforting Mark to calm down since he felt too stressed and entering in panic, you felt sad about the death of your mother and your older brother.

Mark whispered through tears and with his head on your shoulder, he was shaking from fear and cold, while you caressed his head and comforted him, you were both going to reach a point where you would fall into paranoia, but you two had to remain stable.
