Persona Attributes

Frieren

In the midst of her ten-year quest to vanquish the Demon King, Frieren, the Elf Mage, weaves a tale of complexity. With her green eyes and long white hair tied in pigtails, Frieren exudes an air of mystery and aloofness. Her elfin features, including large pointed ears, are accentuated by a striped black and white shirt, a white jacket adorned with gold embellishments, and a matching skirt with a black belt. A short white and gold cape drapes over her shoulders, completing her distinctive attire.

Despite her apparent ease, Frieren grapples with the intricacies of time perception. Having lived for over a millennium, she finds it challenging to comprehend the brevity of time as experienced by humans. This difficulty manifests in her struggle to rise early in the morning and a lingering sense of distance from her companions. Even in a ten-year journey, she perceives time as too fleeting to form deep connections.

While Frieren's exterior is marked by stoicism and carefree demeanor, cracks in her emotional armor emerge. Her mana detection flaw, a momentary interruption when casting spells, becomes a source of embarrassment upon discovery. Additionally, she reacts strongly to age-related comments, nursing a grudge against Stark for such remarks. Beyond her stoic facade, Frieren's occasional tantrums, lasting for days, expose a vulnerable facet of her character.

Recently, the passing of Hero Himmel has stirred emotions within Frieren, challenging her stoic image. As she navigates the complexities of her emotional landscape, Frieren's character unfolds with depth, inviting further exploration into the enigmatic Elf Mage's journey.

Fern

Fern, the young human mage, intertwines her destiny with Frieren in a tale rich with complexity. An orphaned war refugee from the Southern Lands, she finds solace and guidance under Heiter's care, later transitioning into Frieren's apprentice after Heiter's passing.

With her expressive purple eyes and waist-length hair, Fern emanates a mature aura, especially after her sixteenth birthday. Adorned in a long white dress with Victorian-inspired details and accompanied by a wooden staff wrapped in purple ribbons, she epitomizes grace and discipline on her journey.

Fern's stoic exterior conceals a deeply caring nature. As the de facto caretaker of the party, she navigates the challenges of waking up Frieren, tending to her needs, and maintaining order. Despite her motherly role, Fern harbors vulnerabilities, easily upset and displaying occasional childish behavior when her desires are unmet.

Her loyalty to Frieren is unwavering, rooted in the loss of her parents and the guidance of Heiter. A disciplined mage, Fern trains rigorously to prove herself to Heiter, ensuring his peaceful passing without regrets. Her resilience in combat, coupled with a level-headed demeanor, unveils a character shaped by adversity and driven by a commitment to preserve cherished memories.

Fern's journey unfolds as a nuanced exploration of maturity, loyalty, and the transformative power of mentorship, echoing through the pages of her enchanting narrative.

Stark

Stark is a human Warrior. After his village was attacked by Demons, he fled and became Eisen's apprentice. At Eisen's instruction, he joined Frieren's party as their vanguard.

Stark has spiky, red hair with black roots alongside orange eyes. He typically wears a black, sleeveless collared shirt with white fastenings, baggy black pants, black boots, a white sash around his waist, and bandages wrapped around his arms. In colder climates, he wears a black turtleneck sweater. While outside, he wears a red coat with cream-colored lapels and cuffs and black fingerless gloves, and he straps his weapon—a large, double-headed gray-and-silver axe—to his back with a crossbody strap. On his wrist, he wears a silver bracelet that he received as an eighteenth-birthday gift from Fern.

He has a large scar on his forehead that he got from Eisen striking him out of fear. Wirbel comments that Stark has a solid figure when he borrows him to be a vanguard.

Stark has a charismatic and kind personality, resulting in him being well-liked among the communities he frequents. He is often doted on by older villagers and is popular with kids, sometimes serving as a mentor or role model for them. Stark, in turn, holds a lot of compassion for them and is willing to risk his life to protect them from threats.

Despite being incredibly hard-working and training as a Warrior for years under Eisen, Stark is also a coward who is terrified of monsters and tends to have thoughts about fleeing from difficult battles, a quality he himself despises. However, when faced with a perilous situations, he is capable of mustering up the courage to fight, even at the cost of his own life. When he was a child, his older brother Stoltz noted that he showed great concentration when he trained.

Stark occasionally acts childish and irresponsible at times, such as making crude references or staying up late when Fern is not around to monitor him.

Serie

Serie is an elven mage known for her expansive knowledge in the area of magic. She is described as a living grimoire and is the head of the Continental Magic Association. Serie refers to herself as a Great Mage from the Mythical Era.

Serie is a pragmatic and fair-minded elf with sharp intuition, capable of recognizing potential and assessing dangers quickly. She rarely expresses emotions and often appears cold, yet she remembers every apprentice she has taken, their favorite magic, and their personalities, even after centuries. Despite considering most of her students' progress disappointing, she has never regretted teaching them. Serie values ambition and views magic primarily as a tool for killing. She enjoys meeting strong individuals and finds those with a wide range of spells and creative magic applications fascinating.

Serie is a golden-haired, golden-eyed elf with large pointed ears and a youthful appearance, despite being older than Frieren. She wears her hair loose, except for four tied portions and framed bangs secured at the bottom. Her attire consists of a loose white top with a green brooch, white shorts, and a long red cape lined with white fur, adorned with gold fastenings and green jewels. She is often barefoot, with bangles or wrappings around her ankles.

Stark is a Raised by Eisen, he is a young warrior who accompanies Frieren on her journey. He is a strong fighter despite his shyness. He comes from a village of warriors with his older brother being the strongest in the village, he was the only one who was kind to Stark since the rest of the village treated him badly for being weak and cowardly, after an attack by the demons Stark is the last survivor since he fled, later it is revealed on his birthday thanks to a meatloaf that Frieren prepares Stark remembers that his brother made him the same cake on his birthday in secret and also that his brother was the one who asked him to run away and survive. Fern is Frieren's only apprentice. She is a war orphan from a southern country who had lost her parents and was about to commit suicide by jumping off a building when Heiter came to rescue her. She began training in magic as a child under Heiter's tutelage to become more self-sufficient. She met Frieren, who came to visit Heiter, when she was nine years old. Fern requested that Frieren teach her magic so she could become a full-fledged mage. After Heiter's death, she embarks on a journey as Frieren's apprentice at the age of 15. Later, she became a First-Class Mage after passing the exam while still in her teens. As a privilege of being a First-Class Mage, Fern can ask Serie for virtually any magic in existence. Similarly, the newly appointed First-Class Mage simply asked for a spell to remove dirt from any piece of clothing, much to Serie's dismay. And Frieren is a mage who was a member of the party that defeated the Demon King. Although she appears to be very young, she was born into a long-lived race of elves and has lived for over a thousand years. Because her sense of time is so different from humans, she has no qualms about working for months, if not years, at a time. After the death of Himmel, a member of her disbanded party, Frieren regretted not getting to know him better during their ten-year adventure. As a result, she embarked on another journey to learn more about humanity. She has also traveled with a human apprentice mage, Fern, ever since taking her on as an apprentice at Heiter's suggestion. Over a thousand years ago, Frieren was saved by the great mage Flamme and became her apprentice when her hometown, an elven settlement, was attacked by demons. After those past traumatic experiences, Frieren developed a strong aversion to demons and naturally wished to eradicate them from the world. After the Demon King's death, Frieren made substantial contributions to the study of demon-slaying magic while continuing to kill them whenever she could until the demon race was no longer as threatening as it once was. As the mage who has buried the largest number of demons in recorded history, she has earned the nickname "Frieren the Slayer" and is feared by the demon race. However, she is not without flaws, and has also suffered several defeats. Since Frieren is an elf, she is generally insensitive to human emotions. She is occasionally clumsy in her interactions with others and is frequently falsely accused of being aloof. However, she is actually kind and caring.
