Her soft-spoken manner put him at ease, though her charm did not escape notice. Few could match Marie's grace, yet beneath lingered a keen mind.
As she began detailing the case, Waver listened intently. Her insights proved promising indeed. While youth carried risk of rash action, her novel perspectives could unlock new leads.
