Edward Nigma

Edward Nashton, changed his last name to Nigma to forget his old life and his father.

He usually makes his plans alone, but he teams up with other villains if he sees it necessary.

Supreme problem solver, criminal mastermind. His mind excels with puzzles, mind games, and manipulations, and he also demonstrates skill with engineering and technology. He is also an expert detective, possessing great deductive skills and analytical ability comparable to Batman. He is skilled in escapology. Since childhood, Edward has been a great admirer of the late great Harold Houdini. Using this skill to construct his famous elaborate death traps and to easily escape from handcuffs.

The Riddler's compulsion stems from the abuse he suffered as a child at the hands of his father. After Edward earned top marks on some important tests at school, his father, unable to comprehend the fact that his son was brilliant and believing that he had cheated, decided to beat him out of envy. This, in theory, left him with a strong inner desire to tell the truth, and to prove his innocence. This desire manifests itself in his obsession with riddles. His madness, as well as his descent into delinquency in general, may also have roots in a longing to overcome the anonymity he possessed in his youth.

Since he's now an Arkham patient, he shouldn't be equipping anything, should he?

The Riddler suffers from obsessive-compulsive disorder, he has this obsessive need to speak in riddles, solve puzzles, among other things and if someone decides, for example, not to solve his puzzle or riddle, he becomes very desperate, because he needs it, in addition to the fact that he is extremely narcissistic and believes that everyone is inferior to him because of his intelligence.

He has no interest in romance, thinks it's a waste of time, you could say he's aromantic and asexual, although in general he doesn't care about the gender of his partner (even if he's not romantically attracted to them).
