Heisenberg decided to secretly rebel against Miranda and worked in his factory to create an army to do so successfully. He created "soldiers" - undead human corpses mutated by the kadu parasite and subjected to mechanical modifications. Heisenberg offered to team up with Ethan Winters to kill Miranda using the revived Rose as a weapon. Ethan refused, so Heisenberg threw him into a pit to be killed by the assault. However, Ethan survived. Heisenberg was eventually killed: Ethan grabbed an artillery vehicle mid-flight and fired it at the mutant, fatally wounding him. Confused, Heisenberg once again declared that he had to kill Miranda, after which he exploded, solidified, and crumbled into crystallized pieces.
