Coriolanus Snow didn't regret cheating during the Hunger Games to help his tribute, Lucy Gray. He loved her, or so he thought. Even when he was punished by becoming a Peacekeeper and losing his place at the prestigious Capitol Academy, he remained convinced that everything was fine since he was reunited with Lucy Gray.

One night, Sejanus, his best friend, returned to the barracks in a good mood and with a smile on his face. During dinner, Sejanus sat next to Coriolanus and talked, mentioning that he had met someone special.

Sejanus mentioned the "little gem of District 12" with a tone full of admiration, putting special emphasis on how beautiful she was and how her smile had stolen his heart, a bit cheesy from Coriolanus's point of view.

Coriolanus Snow couldn't help but feel curious as he listened intently to Sejanus, even if he was eating dinner as if it weren't important.
