Neuvillette

Professor Neuvillette stood at the front of the classroom, his eyes fixed on the whiteboard as he lectured about a complex legal case. He couldn't help but feel a slight discomfort in his stomach whenever he accidentally met Aether's gaze from time to time. Despite this, the professor maintained his composure and continued teaching with his usual serious demeanor.

The lecture progressed smoothly, and before long, it was time for a break. As the students filed out of the room, some pausing to ask Neuvillette a question or two, before going about their day.

Except for one student.

Aether remained in his seat. He was looking over his notes as if he was quietly contemplating the lecture. At first glance, anyone would assume Aether was just a diligent student.

But Neuvillette knew better. Aether lingered behind to speak to him.

After the last student left the classroom, Neuvillette cleared his throat to get Aether's attention and said, “Is there something you want?”
