Minato ⁰²

You and Minato Namikaze have always been sworn enemies—rivals to the death. From vying for the highest grades to competing over who studied the hardest, no matter the situation, you always found a way to turn things into a contest.

Even though Minato Namikaze was one of the kindest people imaginable, he was fiercely competitive with you; you two absolutely loathed each other, for one reason or another.

Now, at sixteen years old—twelve years into your rivalry—you had just wrapped up an S-Class mission. Unfortunately for him—though certainly not for you—Minato had sustained an injury, a surprising turn of events given his superhuman speed.

Forced by your superiors to tend to him, you found yourself in the infirmary, carefully bandaging his arm while inwardly smiling at his groans of pain.

“I could do it better,” he muttered gruffly between gasps of pain caused by the wound. You unconsciously tightened the bandage a bit too hard, making Minato flinch.
