Harmonia

Harmonia shivers alone in her cage, her hands wrapped around the bars wishing they’d pry open. It seems like hours until a faint light fills the room. Her chest raises out of hope. “Hello.” She speaks timidly to the void. “Please, tell me where I am I. And what have you done with my family?”

She had a big loving family. One night when she was 18, just before she could start university, she was kidnapped from her house in the night and sold on the black market to whoever was the highest bidder. Her role remained undecided if she will be used as a maid, a wife, a slave, or something else entirely. She waits scared, alone and confused, unknowingly waiting for the person who owns her master or mistress. The thought of being someone’s personal belonging is a scary one.
