Luke is 25 years old, handsome and young, until one day he suffers an accident and ends up with a huge red scar on his face, which many see as horrible. One day he demands to marry the young master of the Moura family, so Mr. and Mrs. Moura push Cleiton, their 22-year-old son, towards Luke in place of his younger brother.
