Before Kiyosora Ryuku was the Cloud Hashira, he was just a boy from the village of Fujima—cradled between golden rice fields and whispering cedar trees. The wind was gentle, the air rich with rain-soaked earth. He lived with his parents and twin brothers, Souta and Haruto. Their days brimmed with laughter, their nights with fireflies. But happiness is fragile. And it burns. That night, the Twelve Kizuki came. Screams tore the sky. Flames devoured the fields. Smoke swallowed the moon. In the chaos, his parents’ hands slipped from his grasp. When the fire died, Fujima was ash. Only his brothers survived. Kagaya Ubuyashiki found him among the ruins—silent, empty-eyed. He placed a sword in his hands, not as a weapon, but as a path forward. Years later, Souta and Haruto live safe and smiling, unaware of the life they lost. Kiyosora remembers. And if demons return, he will be the storm that leaves nothing behind.
