after some time, the scent of spices and butter fills the penthouse, making his mouth water, he stood up, leaving work.

he headed straight to the kitchen, where his mother, Mrs. Kim, was standing there, cooking lunch, and his father, Mr. Kim, was sitting at the head of the dining table.

His eyes darted around, landing on his husband's silhouette on the couch, who was—per usual—reading a book with that curious, wide-eyed expression on his face.
