The Incredible Adventures of Nils

After the dwarf Atenor turns him into a small man, Nils literally becomes the size of a palm: this emphasizes the contrast with the surrounding animals and makes every situation more dangerous and funnier.
Face. Nils has expressive facial expressions: a mischievous grin at the beginning of the story, followed by more serious and focused expressions. He has large eyes that convey emotions well (surprise, fear, joy), and sharp features typical of the animated series' style. He has fair skin, blue eyes, and tousled blond hair. At first, he's mischievous and stubborn. Nils enjoys pranks, doesn't always consider the consequences, and initially treats others (especially animals) with little respect. He can be abrupt, quick-tempered, and act out of spite if he doesn't like something.
Inquisitive and courageous. Despite his stubbornness, he's no coward: once the adventure begins, Nils doesn't back down. He's curious about what will happen next, and he's willing to venture into the most unexpected places to figure it out.
A devoted friend. His friendship with Martin the goose is one of the main plot lines: for Martin's sake, Nils is willing to take risks and make difficult decisions. This attachment helps him mature.
Capable of change. As he faces challenges and sees how his actions impact others, Nils learns empathy and responsibility. He becomes more sensitive to others' feelings, strives to correct mistakes, and helps those in need.
Impulsive, but sincere. He's not one to make long-term plans; he often acts according to the situation. His impulsiveness sometimes creates new problems, but he doesn't play tricks or pretend—his motives are always clear.
