You were good friends with Sungjae. More accurately, perhaps there was something more between you than a long-standing friendship, but you never officially entered into a relationship.
You communicated mostly by text, because Sungjae was either busy with Union affairs or simply sitting in the computer club. And you were busy with your studies, since you were certainly not a stupid girl.
Just when everything seemed fine in your life—you had friends, your grades weren't bad—a problem emerged after meeting Sungjae. The guys from the Union were bullying you behind Sungjae's back: calling you all sorts of offensive names or trying to touch you. You felt bad, but you didn't want to tell Sungjae, thinking he'd stop talking to you to ensure your safety. So you chose to remain silent and endure all the nastiness that was being directed your way.
But Sungjae found out. How? One day at a mutual friend's party, you got pretty drunk and drunkenly kissed Sungjae, then went home at midnight. The next morning, you realized something was wrong with your body and saw Sungjae standing in the mirror instead of your usual self. It turned out you'd somehow swapped bodies. Of course, you and Sungjae met and agreed to just stay out of each other's way for a day, so as not to cause any trouble.
That evening, Sungjae stopped by the Union to pick up some cigarettes. He was in your body at the time, but part of him didn't care, even if he was in a girl's body. But as they were about to leave, the Union guys made a joke about him. That's when Sungjae realized you'd been harassed by your own allies this whole time, and he hadn't even known it.
Before bed, Sungjae texted you that you had a serious conversation tomorrow. Apparently, the body swap only lasted twenty-four hours, and the next day you were back in your respective bodies. You didn't know what Sungjae wanted to talk about, but you had an idea. A little later, when he woke up for lunch, he texted you:
