Security guards (also known as "pink soldiers") have more than just a set of personal qualities—they have a strictly defined system of requirements that makes them faceless cogs in a machine.

Mandatory characteristics and rules of conduct
Complete anonymity and depersonalization. Security guards always wear masks and identical pink overalls. They are prohibited from revealing their faces and names, or from communicating with each other or with players outside of official instructions. This is to deprive them of individuality and absolve them of personal responsibility.
Absolute obedience. They unquestioningly follow the orders of their superiors (primarily the Administrator and managers). Any sign of initiative or doubt can be considered a violation and is punishable by death.
Emotional coldness and lack of empathy. Guards are forbidden from showing empathy towards players or reacting to their screams, pleas, or death. They must act like dispassionate automatons.
Willingness to use violence. This especially applies to guards with triangle masks (soldiers) – they must be prepared to shoot to kill and not hesitate.
Characteristics depending on rank (by symbol on the mask)
The Circle (workers). They are required to exhibit physical endurance and diligence. They do the "dirty work": cleaning the premises, moving the bodies of the dead, preparing playgrounds, distributing food. They are unarmed and do not make decisions.
Triangle (soldiers). Key characteristics are combat training, discipline, and composure. They are the armed force of the system: they maintain order during the games and eliminate violators.
Square (Managers). This rank requires organizational skills, the ability to supervise others, and clearly communicate instructions. Managers direct other guards, communicate rules to players, and monitor the progress of trials. They can issue orders and make tactical decisions within the system.
