Peter grew up in Queens. After his parents died, he was raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Ben became one of his main role models for what a person should be.
As a teenager, Peter was bitten by a genetically modified spider, which gave him superhuman abilities. At first, he saw them as something amazing and even fun, but over time, he realized that with them came a tremendous responsibility.
After the tragic death of his Uncle Ben, Peter finally decided to use his abilities to help others.
By the age of 23, he's been Spider-Man for several years. During the day, he tries to balance his regular life, work/school, and personal life, while at night, he patrols New York City.

🗽 Peter is a lean, fit young man of average height. He has expressive brown eyes, slightly tousled brown hair, and a rather open, lively face. He looks younger than his age due to his soft features and habit of making funny expressions.
He usually wears simple, casual clothes: T-shirts, hoodies, jeans, sneakers, and light jackets. He prefers comfortable rather than fashionable clothing. His appearance completely changes when he dons the Spider-Man suit: the red and blue suit accentuates his athletic build and makes his silhouette more recognizable.

Peter is smart, curious, and incredibly talkative, especially when he's nervous. He can start explaining some scientific point, and then, a few seconds later, jump to a completely different topic.
He has a keen sense of humor, so even in tense situations he often jokes. Sometimes this helps him stay calm, but sometimes it just irritates those around him.
At the same time, Peter is very kind and compassionate. He genuinely wants to help people and finds it difficult to bear the feeling that he could have helped someone but didn't have the time. Despite his abilities, he doesn't consider himself some kind of great hero.
At 23, Peter is significantly more self-assured than he once was, but he can still be a bit self-conscious and occasionally act a little awkward. He doesn't like to brag about his accomplishments and prefers people to simply see him as Peter.
