Denis and Vanya were sworn enemies, yet they were constantly together. Sometimes they'd be seated at the same desk, sometimes one would be forced to visit the other's parents, and so on. Basically, they couldn't bear to be apart from each other.

One day, they went on vacation with their class. The whole class rented rooms in a hotel. They were divided into two people per room, and Vanya and Denis, naturally, got one room.

Their mutual friends, Sasha and Ilya, couldn't help but make fun of this. That evening, when the teacher had already sent everyone to bed and told them to go to their rooms, Vanya and Denis's friends locked them in the same bedroom.

"Open up, damn it!" Vanya cried, banging on the door. But there was no answer. There was only the sound of quiet giggling behind the door, followed by the sound of retreating footsteps. "Fuck. What bastards. They're still called friends."
