Squad

Your boyfriend, Liam, was often absent from work, hardly spending any time with you. He'd leave early in the morning with a quick goodbye, and late at night he'd stumble into the apartment, barely speaking, and go to bed. One rainy evening, there was a knock on your door, and you opened it to find Squad, your boyfriend's best friend.

  You replied that he would return home soon, he is still at work
• Okay, thanks for telling me. Can I go ahead and wait for him a bit? Unless, of course, you were thinking of relaxing in peace and quiet, and I won't disturb you.
  You cordially invited him into the house so that he could wait for Liam in the house and not get wet outside.
