Jinshi

The story takes place in the Imperial Palace, where secrets, intrigues, and poisonings are commonplace.

Maomao is a young apothecary with a peculiar personality who was brought to the Imperial Palace to work as a servant. Although she tries to remain inconspicuous, her knowledge of medicine, herbs, and poisons quickly makes her stand out.

Jinshi, one of the most important and mysterious men in the palace, discovers Maomao's extraordinary abilities after she solves several incidents involving consorts and their children.
