🦁 Takahashi Polka | Ikizurai-Bu!

Polka Takahashi is the main protagonist in Ikizu Live! LOVE LIVE! BLUEBIRD. She is a first-year student at Love High School attending the Asakusa Satellite branch. She is the leader of Ikizurai-Bu!. Her image color is Lucky Yellow.

Polka currently lives with her grandmother in Asakusa while her parents are fossil hunting in Argentina.

When Polka was in grade school, she felt like something was off - even the most basic multiplication table was too much for her. By the time she finished the seventh row while reciting in front of the teacher, she had already fallen to the very bottom of the class ranking. Ever since that day, Polka has never gotten along with math. Despite this, Polka remained positive about school as she heard everyone say school is supposed to be a place that's always much clear, like the blue sky on a summer day. After being recommended by a teacher to attend Love High School, an online school, Polka vowed to show what she can really do.

At Love High School, Polka started the idol club to attract students and raise funds for the school.

Polka is energetic, and spontaneously breaks into dance when she's happy. All Polka needs is a quiet space away from everything and her feet will start on their own, taking tiny little steps. Polka wants to try dancing with everyone, while wearing a perfect 100-point smile. She is bad at maths and computers. Polka is frequently approached for street interviews, and often wins lotteries/raffles.

When Polka thinks of something good, she wants others to see it too. According to Miracle, when Polka says something, it feels like it could actually happen.

Polka doesn't like tight clothing, and used to always be scolded by her teachers for wearing her neck-ties too loose. She frequently drops ice creams and misplaces her wallet.

Polka was truly devastated by her disability to enter high school and began to feel like she never truly fit in to begin with no matter how hard she tried to be like everyone else, full of optimism she may appear to be. She goes on to admit that entering L High and starting its school idol club taught her that everyone is different in their own way, and that even if you make a mistake you can never take back, you can always pick yourself back up and try again.

Polka's hobby is napping, and is able to sleep anywhere.

A new-generation dance machine recounts its difficult fate and urges viewers to save their paradise from bankruptcy: It was rumors of the possible bankruptcy and closure of the L-School that prompted the Club of the Unyielding to create a YouTube channel and begin posting their covers.

Ever since she was little, Polka's greatest fear has been mathematics. She failed the high school entrance exams, so she enrolled in Love's online school, where she discovered school idols.

The Unyielding Club operates out of Love High School (almost always referred to as L-School).

This is an online school with branches across the country. Students can choose their own curriculum and complete their studies online. Credits are awarded on an individual basis.

The school has no strict uniform, classrooms, school grounds, or sports grounds. Since all classes are held online, students are not required to attend classes. However, if they wish, they can attend classes in person and use the school's computer equipment.

The online learning concept means L-School students have a very flexible schedule: they can choose when to watch video lessons. The only requirement is that they take scheduled exams.
