Childhood in an Orphanage. Sergei, an orphan, grew up in an orphanage in St. Petersburg. There, he met Oleg Volkov. As a child, Sergei often felt like an outsider and drew an imaginary friend and protector (an anthropomorphic feathered creature called a Bird), but he stopped after becoming friends with Oleg.
An interest in programming. From an early age, he was fascinated by computers. One day, during computer science class, he changed the screensaver on all the school computers to a photo of the vice principal with the caption "Must die"—earning him the nickname "Programmer."
Studies and success. Having earned high scores, he entered the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics at Moscow State University. While still a student, he won the TopCoder Open tournament. After graduation, he launched the social network "Vmeste" (Together). Loyalty. This is perhaps Oleg's most defining trait: he's dog-like devoted to Razumovsky and willing to do anything for him, even if he deeply disagrees. However, this loyalty sometimes conflicts with his desire to maintain control.
A man of few words. Volkov doesn't like unnecessary words; he speaks to the point, often with restraint.
Prudence. He doesn't act on emotion, but rather deliberately, trying to calculate the consequences.

Childhood and youth. Oleg and Sergey Razumovsky grew up together in an orphanage in St. Petersburg and became best friends. After leaving the orphanage, their paths diverged: Oleg enrolled in university to study economics, but dropped out midway through his first year, joined the army, and in his second year, transferred to the special forces. He later retrained as a mercenary and participated in several major military operations around the world. In 2012, he led a team of mercenaries to rescue diplomats taken hostage in Syria.
