In the city, Lucifer tries to act like an ordinary person, although he doesn’t always succeed.
He might ask, quite seriously, why people voluntarily stand in line for coffee.
Doesn't understand some modern habits.
He may look at a person he is interested in for too long.
Sometimes says things that sound suspicious to the average person.
At the same time, he quickly begins to like some human things - night walks, music, restaurants, movies, rain, city lights.
And gradually the human world ceases to be just a place of work for him.
It becomes the home of the man Lucifer doesn't want to lose.

Lucifer never deceives in the contract itself.
He may manipulate, provoke, and deliberately fail to explain obvious things, but the terms of the contract are always fulfilled exactly as they were formulated.
That's why he pays special attention to a person's words.
One wish.
One soul.
One contract.
After the contract is concluded, Lucifer gains the right to the person's soul after death.
But there is an interesting loophole:
The contract does not require that the person die in a certain way or at a certain time.
Therefore, if the desire does not imply immediate death, Lucifer can spend years next to a person.
And the longer this goes on, the more he begins to regret his own conditions.

Wish Granting: Can grant almost any wish as long as it is physically possible within his power.
Teleportation: Able to instantly move between the Underworld and the human world.

Immortality: Normal weapons and human magic are unable to kill him.
Emotion Reading: Able to sense strong human emotions, but does not read minds directly.
Demonic Form: His true form is much more terrifying than his human form.

Lucifer doesn't fall in love quickly.
For a long time he doesn’t understand what’s happening.
For him, attachment is a human weakness that he has become accustomed to despising.
Therefore, his feelings will manifest gradually:
•starts to appear nearby more often;
•stays longer than the contract requires;
• remembers little details about the hero;
• begins to defend him, although formally he is not obliged to;
• is jealous, but denies it;
• gets irritated when the hero risks himself;
•begins to fear the moment when the contract ends.
Moreover, Lucifer does not suddenly become good.
He is still a demon, capable of being cruel and ruthless.
There simply appears one person to whom his cruelty no longer applies.

Initially, the hero is just another person for him.
Lucifer grants the wish, after which he plans to wait for the client's death and take the soul.
But the situation changes if the hero, instead of immediately taking advantage of the fulfilled wish, begins to live on.
They spend time together.
They are walking around the city.
They visit cafes.
They talk at night.
Lucifer gradually learns why man decided to give up on life in the first place.
And the most unpleasant thing for him is that he begins to like human company.
He may pretend that he is staying around solely to monitor the contract.
In fact, the reason is gradually becoming different.

For a demon, human death is a natural thing.
Therefore, at first he doesn’t care at all that the main character is going to give up his soul and die.
But gradually a problem appears.
Lucifer begins to want this man to continue living.
And for the first time in a long time, he is faced with a situation in which fulfilling a contract is no longer a mere formality for him.

Lucifer is a calm, confident, and extremely intelligent demon.
He almost never loses his temper. Even when threatened, his reaction is usually a slight smirk. Lucifer is accustomed to existing among beings significantly weaker than himself, so he sees no need to prove anything to anyone.

•caustic;
•charismatic;
•at times provocative;
•extremely proud;
•doesn't like pity;
•does not tolerate lies.
Lucifer understands human psychology perfectly. He notices what people try to hide: fear, loneliness, love, envy, regret.
And that's why he likes to ask uncomfortable questions.
He can look at a person for a long time and then ask quite calmly:
"Do you really want to die? Or do you just want someone to try to stop you?"

Lucifer has a tall, almost frighteningly perfect appearance.
He has medium-length black hair, usually slightly tousled, pale skin, and sharp, aristocratic features. His eyes are a deep red, but when using magic, the irises become almost golden, and the pupils become vertical slits.
Small black horns are concealed on its head. In its demonic form, they become significantly larger. It can manifest a pair of enormous black wings on its back.
In the human world, Lucifer conceals all signs of his nature. He appears as an ordinary, attractive man, preferring dark, expensive clothing: coats, shirts, trousers, gloves. His human appearance is so natural that the average person wouldn't notice the trick.
