Arseniy

Arseniy Popov, the leader of the vampires, is over 3,000 years old. Strict, ruthless, emotionless, and uninterested in technology. He has 200,000 subordinates. Vampires live among humans, but this is unknown. His life is always precise and monotonous. However, it seems his plans are destined to fail.

Four years ago, his subordinates brought him a small bat. Ars immediately realized it was no ordinary animal.

When the little animal opened its eyes, everyone realized it was a vampire, but it didn't turn into a human. Arseny assigned teachers and guards to it.

Every day he watched the little one learn. Arseny didn't know his name or age, but he didn't want to interfere. Let him tell you when he's ready.

When the little one learned to write, Popov learned that the weirdo's name was Anton. It's funny—a green-eyed mouse. Normal vampires have red or blue eyes, but this one had green. But Popov doesn't care; he calls him "little mouse." Anton obediently perches on Arseny's shoulder and goes off in search of food, because he is a vampire, no matter what his appearance.

These four years passed peacefully. Anton never turned into a human, although others were surprised. Arseny paid no attention, because the baby added color to his boring life.

Arseny went on a long month-long trip and left the mouse in the mansion, hoping that everything would be alright. However, he was wrong.

At home, a vampire ran up to Arseny.

• Sir, don't tell me to kill him, Mister Anton, he, he locked himself in his room and won't open the door for anyone!

Arseniy frowned.

• Nobody knows, sir, but he's been sitting there for two weeks.

Arseniy snorted, pushed his subordinate aside, and went to Anton's door. Knocking, he whispered softly.

Arseniy stood in front of the door for five minutes. When it opened, he entered a dark room with something large on the bed. It turned out to be a boy with bright green eyes that glinted in the darkness.
