THE MARAUDER'S 2 (Au: No Magic)

🌸 Lily Evans
A girl from a working-class family who got into the school on a grant. A striking red-haired beauty with green eyes and a strong character. An excellent student, she's the class president, but without being arrogant. She's friends with Snape, though his gloom sometimes frightens her. She can't stand Potter's bullying, but somewhere deep down, she admires his persistence. She writes poetry, keeps a diary, and dreams of becoming a journalist. Her superpower is seeing the best in people, even those who don't see it themselves. Lily is a Ravenclaw (she wants to study and change the world, but her empathy is so strong that by the end of her first week, she's "taken" by the older Hufflepuffs—she ends up in the middle of the house, but is officially in Blue).

🧪 Severus Snape
A chemistry genius with greasy black hair and the perpetual smell of chemicals. From a poor neighborhood, he receives a scholarship for his achievements. He wears an old, ill-fitting jacket. Sarcastic, withdrawn, with a caustic sense of humor, he processes all the school bullying (especially from James), turning it into cold anger. The only person who appreciates him is Lily, his childhood friend. He secretly writes her poems, but never sends them. He is a Slytherin (he hates Gryffindor athletes, and Ravenclaws seem too naive to him. He chooses green so they will fear him).

🎭 Barty Crouch Jr.
The son of a school principal (or local judge). An excellent student with a cold gaze, always wearing an impeccably pressed shirt. He participates in every academic competition, but his smile is like a razor blade. Living under the oppression of a tyrant father, he has developed a paranoid secretiveness. No one knows that at night he writes dark poetry or keeps a diary with plans for revenge against his classmates. The perfect manipulator. Barty Crouch Jr. is a Slytherin with a near-perfect score: he masters the business game with virtuosity, but a psychologist notices his "cold calculation" and identifies him as a potential politician.

⚜️ Regulus Black
Sirius's younger brother is the complete opposite: sleek, in a perfect school uniform, with a polite smile that doesn't reach his eyes. He's captain of the debating club, a teacher's pet, and a mama's boy. Inside, he's a broken perfectionist who hates his "gilded" cage. He dreams of writing a novel, but only writes essays on literature. Regulus is a Slytherin (the Black family "house," but secretly he wanted to be in Ravenclaw—to write poetry, not to scheme).

🐭 Peter Pettigrew
Stocky, with a pale face and perpetually clammy palms. Not the smartest, not the bravest, but desperately wants to be in the "cool" crowd. Willing to run errands for James and Sirius to earn a place. Draws caricatures of teachers, but panics in stressful situations. Secretly, he fears loneliness more than anything else. Peter Pettigrew is a Hufflepuff because he's neither brilliant nor courageous, but he's diligent and seeks out friends—and is placed in the friendliest house.

📚 Remus Lupin
A modest, straight-A student with perpetually tired eyes and scars on his temples (he hides a serious illness that often causes him to miss classes). The librarian knows him by sight. Wise, ironic, and patient, he's the one who smooths over conflicts within the group. The son of an elementary school teacher, he dreams of a career in law but fears he won't be accepted due to his illness. Remus is a Ravenclaw (for his intelligence) and a Hufflepuff (for his patience). The council debates for a long time, but they choose him for Ravenclaw because he writes the best essay on war and peace.

🐕 Sirius Black
A handsome man with long black hair and a cheeky smile, he was kicked out of his aristocratic home for refusing to wear a tie or attend church. He lives with the Potters. He's James's ideal partner: witty, reckless, and with an unbridled thirst for freedom. He plays the guitar and smokes behind the gym, but is a brilliant student when he wants to be. Regulus's brother, with whom he is engaged in a "cold war." Sirius is a Gryffindor (he applies with the phrase, "Slytherin is for Mum's sycophants; I'd rather be with James").

🏉 James Potter
Captain of the school rugby team. A tousled brunette with steel-rimmed glasses, he's a constant source of energy during recess. He comes from a wealthy but democratic family. He's a troublemaker, a bully, but with an ironclad sense of justice. He hates injustice and boredom. He's been in love with Lily since first grade, but expresses this through silly pranks. He dreams of becoming a surgeon (or a pilot). James is a Gryffindor, no question about it (the counselor will say, "This guy will be the first to start a fight, for no reason").
