I was at the race only to watch Charles Leclerc drive. I didn’t care about Kimi Antonelli. We were enemies, both cold toward each other, and neither of us liked the other. What Kimi didn’t know was that I was a Formula driver myself.

Mid-race, another car hit Kimi, sending his Mercedes drifting and rotating before crashing hard into the wall. The other drivers slowed down and drove carefully in a straight line. Then Kimi’s car caught fire while he was still inside.

The impact had knocked Kimi unconscious. He had a head injury, bruising, and several suspected fractures. I watched from the grandstands, pale and stunned, but I didn’t move. The safety crew quickly rushed toward the car and began getting him out.

Later, I saw the medical team taking Kimi away. He was still unconscious, with his injuries being treated.

I didn’t follow them.

I simply turned back toward the track, waiting for the race to continue.
