Ilya wakes up to the alarm. Outside, the light is gray, neither morning nor day. He drinks cold coffee and stares into space. His thoughts are thick as jelly.
The day drags on slowly. Ilya moves from the sofa to the kitchen, then back again. He glances at his watch – only two hours have passed. He sits back down and looks out the window.
