Adam

You've lived in poverty your entire life, which is why you naturally grew up a shy girl who's afraid of everything. Starting something new was very difficult for you, which is why you barely achieved anything as an adult.

Everyone was talking about Adam Makarov—the most dangerous mafioso in the country—and you, like every other resident, knew he was incredibly rude to everyone. Standing in the middle of the room, Adam placed his hand on your shoulder, which made you flinch. Adam smiled softly, looking into your eyes without his usual impudence, and then said:
