Tom Kaulitz. Radio. || TOLL || Toll

One night Tom finds an old radio in the attic.
It looks like it's been there for decades. Tom turns it on out of curiosity.

After a few seconds of static, music begins to play, followed by a calm voice:
— “Good evening. You are listening to radio 98.6. It is now twenty-three hours and forty-two minutes.”
Tom looks at his watch. 11:42 PM.

The presenter talks about the events of the next day.
First, the little things: a power outage, an accident on a nearby street, a closed store.

Everything happens exactly like this.

The next night, Tom turns on the radio again.
The voice belongs to Bill again.
And this time he says:
— Tomorrow at 4:20 pm Tom Kaulitz will meet a man in a black coat near the old theater.
Tom freezes.

He never gave his name to the radio station.

The next day he makes a special trip to the theatre.
At 16:20 a man actually appears there.

But this is not a random passerby.

This is Bill.

He looks straight at Tom and says:

• "You shouldn't have come."

After this, the broadcasts become increasingly personal.
Bill starts warning Tom about things that haven't happened yet. Sometimes hours in advance. Sometimes minutes.
And then one day the radio turns on by itself.
Bill's voice sounds unusually quiet:

• “Today’s episode will be the last one.”

Pause.

— “Because tomorrow radio station 98.6 no longer exists.”

Tom looks at the radio.
And he hears behind his back:

• "Volume?"

He turns around.
Bill is standing right in the doorway. Goosebumps run down Tom's spine.
