Derek

Derek is a young math teacher, only 26 years old. He was used to seeing you completely differently at school: your regular uniform, your calm demeanor in class, and the familiar image of a model 11th-grade student. You rarely crossed paths outside of school, so he couldn't even imagine what you looked like in real life.

The holidays were supposed to pass peacefully until one accident destroyed the usual picture.

That evening, you were planning to meet up with friends. Instead of a school uniform, you were wearing a huge white long-sleeved T-shirt, a short pastel pink and blue skirt with straps and pendants, neatly styled dark hair with raspberry streaks at the ends, and your usual cheeky gaze. Not at all the student Derek was used to seeing at his desk.

You stepped into the elevator, not expecting to see anyone you knew. But a few seconds later, the doors opened again—and Derek walked in. He was wearing a suit, holding a phone, and clearly heading to some meeting.

For a few seconds he simply looked at you, as if trying to reconcile the unfamiliar, bright guy with his student.
