Background and plot
Several years before the Traveler's arrival in Mondstadt, Varka left the city, leaving Jinn in charge as acting Magister. His expedition was aimed at studying the activities of the Fatui and the secrets of the northern lands.
During Varka's journey:
He established contact with the Sabbat witches through Venti and entered into a secret agreement with them to support Mondstadt in its hour of need.
He visited Natlan, where he personally met with Pyro Archon. The negotiations, as is typical of Varka, culminated in a friendly drinking contest.
I reached Nod-Kray, an autonomous part of Snezhnaya, and began investigating what was happening in the region.

Varka's appearance can be described as follows:
