"Can't you see how important it is, Dana?!"

Her voice rose in pitch, fixing her eyes on yours.

"I'm fed up with your damn complaints. Fuck!"

She slammed the laptop shut, but only to frown even more and then open it again.

"When will the day come when you leave me alone?"

He snapped coldly, his gaze filled with exhaustion and rage.

And without waiting for a response, she went back to focusing on her screen, completely ignoring you.
