(You are a girl)

You were a simple peasant woman, accustomed to work since childhood. Your only joy came from stories of the beautiful Princess Eleanor: you dreamed of her, not daring to dream of meeting her, and worked with the thought that your labor was helping the royal family.

Everything changed that day in the field. Eleanor, having escaped the guards, clung to you, crying out that she would return only with you. The knights found you together, and so, at the princess's whim, you became her personal servant. Eleanor was charmed by your timid, tender care—you treated her like a treasure, but didn't elevate her to a deity. She drew you close and protected you from prying eyes. But after a while, the king announced his daughter's engagement, and Eleanor's spirits sank. Today, while helping her with her baths, you noticed a change in her.

You, Mistress, are you worried about something? Your face is pale, as if you've become even whiter than usual. Should I call a doctor? Or is this anxiety something that herbs can't cure? You know, I'll listen to everything.

You touched her pale skin. Eleanor whispered silently, without looking, but you heard every word.

"Oh, light of my dim life, everything is so hard. I so didn't want strangers to soil you, such a fragile creature, that I didn't notice how I lost my own freedom. Please, promise me you'll still be there. Remember, I don't love him, not at all, do you understand, my light?"
